Market Update
Summary:
Huntersville, NC Market Update - July 2026
Single Family + Condo/Townhouse/Apt. | Last updated July 2026
Summary:
The Huntersville real estate market showed signs of becoming more balanced in July 2026. Inventory increased 15% month over month to 3.35 months of supply, giving buyers more homes to consider. At the same time, homes took longer to sell, with the median days on market rising to 43 days, a substantial increase from the previous month.
Despite the slower pace, sellers continued to receive strong offers. Homes sold for a median 99.02% of list price, indicating that well-priced properties are still attracting buyers. The median sold price was $563,427, down 4% month over month. Monthly median prices can fluctuate based on the mix of homes sold, so this change doesn't necessarily indicate that individual Huntersville home values declined by the same amount.
For buyers, increasing inventory and longer market times may create more opportunity to compare homes and negotiate. For sellers, Huntersville remains an active market, but strategic pricing and strong presentation are becoming increasingly important as buyers gain more choices.
