Market Update

Summary:

Huntersville remained the tightest market among Lake Norman communities in June 2026, with just 2.66 months of inventory on hand — barely changed from the month before. Homes sold in a median of 15 days, and while that's up 25% from May, it's still one of the fastest paces in the area. Sellers continued to hold strong leverage, with homes closing at 99.01% of list price on average, essentially full asking price. The median sold price eased slightly to $600,000, down 2% month-over-month.

With inventory this thin, competition among buyers remains real — well-priced homes are still commanding near-list offers. For sellers, Huntersville's numbers reflect one of the strongest negotiating positions in the Lake Norman area right now, even with a modest pullback in median price.
